Congratulations! You did it!! It has been a long journey but you have persevered and triumphed! If you are lucky enough to have been accepted to more than one medical school, you finally have some power back! Take your time. Revisit the schools you have been accepted to, if possible, and ask lots of questions to clarify which school is right for you.

Keep in mind that even if you receive an offer, it will be conditional upon your successful graduation from college. You will need to finish the year strong, and not allow your grades to slide even though you have an acceptance in hand. It is not at all unheard off for acceptances to be rescinded due to severely slumped grades in the last semester, rude or excessive partying during a school’s revisit weekend, or offensive material being discovered on social media accounts.

Be sure to take a moment to reflect on your journey thus far. Be proud of yourself for beating the odds and thriving. Begin to wrap your head around the fact that you will be a physician one day, and then you will help and heal more people in your lifetime than you can even imagine.

You. Did. It!!
